Growing up, I have always been into sports. I’ve played any land sports and joined any marathon I could get myself into and going into college I started lifting. In a way, the gym and lifting was my first love. But moving to the United States 6 years ago has showed me a whole different world. I started surfing and was a surf instructor for 4 years and I also picked up snowboarding, wakeboarding and many more. In a way, if I had a religion, surfing would be it. However, being back fresh 4 months in KL city after all these years was extremely hard for me and I was struggling to find my place back here. One day I just snapped and decided that I could either do something about it and to start finding ways to get endorphins in my body going again or I could keep sulking and I chose the earlier. Sometimes, all it takes is a little step in the right direction to get you out of a rut. So here I am, 4 months later, trying to make a change for the better! I am grateful. Grateful that I am able bodied, grateful that I have an outlet to sweat, grateful for all the new relationships formed, and grateful that one day I will find my way back to a surfboard. 


But now, I also realized that in every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact and that is exactly what I intend to do here at FLY.
